Two questions.

1. Anyone know much about the MRT pro-street springs? Claims no camber adjustment etc. and drop sounds smiliar to Eibach.

2. Whats all of this Throttle Body Spacer nonsense?

Sounds like they would be close to teh eibach pro-kit. Good springs IMO.

TB Spacers are used to allow more length to let the air gain velocity. Most of the time they are worth 1-2hp. Personally unless significant gains can be had, I wouldnt worry about it. Jason can maybe go further into detail on these for a mach1 as I havent ever read up on them.

I'd go with a PHP intake spacer before a throttle body spacer. I've got Vogtland springs and am happy as pie with them, decent drop, and no problems with clearance issues.

Well, got the CAI on which came today. Easy as pie install, and really cleaned up engine bay. The install leaves out the MAF screen. No way for it to be installed with this one. Hopefully that won't be an issue.

I may have to figure out a way to paint the rest of the intake tubing, and shaker tubing just to clean it up a bit more.

Unhooked battery for about twenty, plugged back in, let idle for about 10. Then took out for a little drive with the youngest (21 months).

Seems to be different. Maybe more power, or maybe my imagination, but it seemed more responsive. If nothing else, it looks a TON better. I'll drive a more tomorrow on way to Dickson for tire change and will get a better impression then.

Have the 3 Point Brace too, but that install is imtimidating me :P

Tomorrow going to get new tires on. Will change oil after that (still using AMSOIL, highly recommended).

Only three things not ordered are: Springs, H-Pipe, and SCT Tuner (waiting for Bamachips to reopen).

Also, I'm changing out all front lights. One fog is out, and the stock bulbs suck anyway. Not bright enough. May go with pure white Xenons. have had them before, and I like them.

Well, have sure thought about doing it I'm keeping the two "good ones" just for that too. Will look for two stock rims to have them mounted on.

The ones on the front, well they used to be on the back .. and they aren't in such good shape right now.

Also, I think I'm going MRT Springs. Those may be next before even H-Pipe.

Looks like I'm one of only 4 stock Machs left in the world. And the only one left that still has the snorkel. : )

Yeah, probably so.

But, I'm refusing to make any changes to alter the appearance of the car too much. If I ever go 18's on the wheels, they'll still be the modenrn Mach style.

I have all stock parts, including paper filter, saved. So she culd go back to stock pretty quickly.

Oh, and I had the snorkel until yesterday!

Without Dyno proof, I can for sure say that the Steeda CAI seems to be doing something good. All day today, it seemed more response and was quicker to react to a bit more throttle. It's making me REALLY want Bamachips to reopen to get that SCT Tuner to tie it all together.

Also, Nitto 555's tires installed -- and I do like 'em alot so far. Lots of back roads, and got 'em up pretty high and they seemed to grip good in the corners. Also, amazingly quiet. far less road noise then the stock ones.
