Why would that be a problem? Sure the ride would be a little firmer, and the rubber a little more expensive, but other than that you are only going up 1" from what you have now.

I don't want to pay the difference in price and my suspension is already pretty stiff all the way around.

I can understand the stiff suspension, esp. depending on the kind of streets you may drive on. The speedo thing......

i completely second bigred0383's idea for the FR500's...

if you don't mind replicas, go to this website:

http://www.mustangtuning.com/fr500wheels1.html

They have a few deep dish rims in stock, and if you order right now, wheels have free shipping! Woot! You can't beat that!

AND -

They have a chrome set of 17x9's for sale.... Woot Again! Now... all you gotta do is order...

I am thinking of putting regular Bullits on my 94 Forest Green Vert.
Anyone have this combination and pics? I would like to see what the combo looks like.

Thanks,

personally i like the deep dish 18inch chrome bullits which apparently my lovely wife has just ordered for me for christmas
cant wait, i knew wthere was a reason why i married her
regards the fr 500's i think they look like rice burner wheels they are very similar to tsw,s stealth that came out a few years back and every budget european piece of junk ran them, maybe thats why im not keen, its a real shame they dont do the bullits in a 19

Look at the Mach1 wheels on 50resto.com If they weren't 17" I'd get them... but I want 18's. I believe they are 17x9. They are pretty sweet though...

I really like the ROH drifter R wheel. 17 comes with 2" or 3" lips.Quite a few sizes. They're pretty popular with mustangs.
