Hello. I am in the market for a replacement for my current car, and have recently stumbled across a low mileage 2004 Mustang Mach 1. I am a Ford guy at heart and love the look of the Mach 1. I also am a horsepower junkie and was looking at getting a supercharger for the car, however in my limited research it seems like all of the superchargers out there disable the shaker hood scoop and draw in thier air from another source. Are there any SCs out there that utilize the Shaker scoop?? I thank you for your all for your time.

P.S. The nicest car I have ever driven was a 2002 GT Conv that I was given for senior prom .

Hi Matt and welcome. Buy the Stang, you will not regret. Yes you can buy a supercharger for the Mach 1 that uses the shaker. Unsure if these are the best prices but take a look.

Sure there are others out there who can advise you as well.
Once again welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was given the the option to buy the Mach 1, a MkIV Supra TT (320hp) or a late model RX-7 TT(225hp). I origionally had my heart set on the supra since it is such a rare ride but after seeing one up close it lost the mistique. There is something to be said about true american muscle. The Mach 1 I found is yellow and in great condition with only 3,900 miles on it.

Are you on a Supra or RX7 forum asking these questions??? I think not. Have you taken the Mustang for a ride? I can make your mind up for you right now if you like. Even better set up a vote.

3900 miles!!! How much are they asking for it?

Quick Update:

Bought a 2004 Mach 1 with 1893.4 Miles on the odo and mint condition over e-bay from a repuitable dealer. It was delivered to my house 2 weeks ago and I have no complaints regarding the dealer we bought it from (Auto Showcase in Chicago IL) It is Screamin' Yellow 5spd with the IUP. I am currently at school in AZ and the car is in PA. My father was kind enough to wash and wax it for me and we are currently planning mods though the SC will be a long time down the road. Most of my money is going to go into my focus for bracket racing and to get the 4-point harnesses adjusted so that they are race legal and will not destroy my back (I do not use them right now, but have the mounts installed for "rice" shows) Here are a few pics of my car i.e. The Evil Twin(next to my uncle's 2004 V6 "The Good Brother") and the e-bay auction where I bought the car.

Transport truck it was hauled on:

Ha Ha. Love the way its next to the V6. It makes my day pulling up to the V6 crew and giving it a little gas. Nice ride, glad you went with the Mustang.
