cold air kit: instead of havin that box at the begining of your intake, you have a conical shaped filter that lets in more air, improves gas mileage, gives you acouple more ponies, fixes male pattern baldness and makes your wife or husband look that much hotter.

(claims may vary due to production restrictions.)

they really just allow the car to breathe more air in.

you could also allow it to breathe out better by getting aftermarket exhaust parts.

other cheap alternatives would be underdrive pulleys, or gears (which won't increase HP, but i guarantee you will feel the difference more than any other bolt on).

Out of all the minor mods, gears to me seem to make the most difference in the daily driving aspect of the car.

gears make a huge difference, they make almost as much of a difference as a blower.

I wouldn't go that far... But yeah they are probably the best bang for the buck startin off. Exhaust is also a great first step, not only do u gain power but the sound makes it a lot more fun to drive!

They are the best bang for the buck but only if you get a cat-back exhaust system too. More air in...more air out, more horsepower. I'd like to see pictures of your car, I have one also. I plan on the accufab plenum with a 70mm throttle body and either a MAC straight shot CAI or Steeda CAI.

how much more ponies would a cold-air intake give you?
