Anyone know a good site, other than this one, for seeing more pics of 99-04 Mustangs with chrome rims? I can't decide between 17 or 18 inches and I'm torn on what style to go with. I'm also looking for any suggestions or feedback on the best Springs to buy. Thanks!

I agree, I have the Eibachs and they are worth every penny. As for rims, I don't know. It will be all up to you. I do recommend you look at prices of 18 inch tires vs. 17 inch tires. The difference in price and availability of sizes might surprise you.

How much of a drop are you looking for? If you're looking for a low drop, like 2", I've heard the H&R Supersports are a good spring for that.

I didn't want to go that low; I just went with the Ford C-springs; dropped the front about an inch, and the rear about 3/4".

Here's a picture of my '03 GT after the springs were installed; I've got stock wheels on it (they're basically the '01 Cobra wheels, polished...but with a running pony center cap):

Nice Car! I can't go too low or the bottom of the car will be destroyed on the crappy roads near my house.

Are you saying the roads in NEPA aren't the greatest?

I also had the C Springs on my old car (the laser red one) and you can see the drop is not as extreme as the Eibach springs. Car still rubs though.

(Sorry for the size of pic)

On Monday last week I had a blow out in my dodge going to work. Local industrial park has holes the size of crators everywhere. I feel like I'm in the asteroid scene in The Empire Strikes Back!

I didn't order springs yet b/c I don't have time to install them for a few weeks.

I'm ordering the 17 inch chrome bullitts and tires from AFS though!

those look like the wheels dealers were putting on cars to move them, i dont believe those were a factory option, did the dealer install those with the center caps fromt he original torque thrusts or were they factory options?

Those were the Cobra wheels a few years back but were an option on the GT's lately. I saw an Orange GT yesterday with those, looked good. That Blue one is sweet!

Factory option. Even says so on the sticker...they started using those wheels as an upgrade option on the Premium GT in 2003; the base wheel for the Premium GT was the Bullitt wheel.

Here's what the sticker reads:

WHEELS, 17" 5-SPOKE BRIGHT 395.00

I've seen a handful of the '03 and '04 GTs with them. Guess most everyone wanted the Bullitt wheels.

That's cool man...to each his own. To be honest, when I first saw them in the 2003 sales brochure, I wasn't completely sold on 'em either. And I initially just wanted everything else the car came with...couldn't find another Sonic Blue GT Premium with the IUP around...they were all either GT Deluxes, or GT Premiums without the IUP. But when I finally found THIS car, I had to have it...and the wheels have grown on me.

They also seem a lot easier to clean than any other wheel I've had.

Thanks everybody for the kind words.

yes, i dont like many GTs, i have respect for them, cuz of course they are a ford and they are pretty fast stock, but yours is downright gorgeous, along with Andys (99 35th anniversery)

I tell ya...as simple of a mod as that is, it really adds a nice look to the front end of the '99-'04s. Subtle, but you know it's there. I didn't like how the little "flaps" at the rear of the bumper cover were so exposed...the chin spoiler took care of that.
