New exhaust...

So I want to buy a new exhaust for my 97 GT... Wats the best exhaust I could get ??

you're not going to get a straight answer on this one... alot of opinions out there. I personally like the Mac catback and o/r h.

I think it depends on the kind of sound you want. If you wan't something very loud I think SLP is the way to go but if your like me and want a nice sound but livable for daily driving you could go with Borla or Bassani. Both are easy to install with the only downside being that both brands are on the high end of exhaust prices.

I have Borla on my 97 GT and it sounds great when you are on the throttle you can hear a great sound. At idle it has a nice mellow burble and and steady cruise speeds it is muted to almost sounding stock.

I have Bassani on my 03 Cobra and it's similar to the Borla in the fact that it's only loud when you want it to be. Honestly I think it is a little quieter than my GT but still respectable.

I just install SLP loudmouth II which is less loud than loudmouth, I have stock mid pipes and stock cats.

Can you post a vid of the BORLA exhaust... Price isn't the matter I just want a nice aggressive sound when you step on it but also a nice sound while cruising...
