Gears, I've heard that the 5.0s respond very well to exhaust, if it's a 5 speed then get a short throw, if it's an auto then get a shift kit.

What do you have done already? A cold air intake always helps a little bit

Gears, exhaust, h/c/I, stroker kit. All depends on what you want to spend. A CAI is a waste of money and won't do very much of anything.

Gears again. I'm pretty sure you have 3.08s so 3.73s would be a nice bump. your T5 has a 3.37 1st gear so it will really like the 3.73 rear gears a ton and if you are more fuel minded with the ratio you have in your T5 you even go with 3.55s to bring the rpms down a tad more at highway cruising speed. 4.10 would give you punch of the line but 1st gear would be useless, your rpms would be pretty high at highway speeds so your gas mileage would suffer badly and the heads don't really like to breathe at that high anyway. 4.10s are a great match for an autos gearing and even a T5Z ratios setup. Gears don't increase HP but boy do they change how the car moves, you think it's slow now stuff some 2.73s in the back then drive it

Headers would be on my list also.

Not now wait until you dig into the motor more ie heads, cam, etc the gains are small.also if you go with 3.73s get the red speedo gear to correct the speedometer.

not to get into a huge thing but a tune on a '94-'95 OBD1 push rod V8 isn't worth it until more worth while mods are done. It's much different on the OBD II mod motors.

You can never go wrong with gears, and while you are back there you may aswell rebuild the lsd.

Get the trans fluid changed. Any work to the transmission is going to cost an arm and a leg.
