Mustang body change

Hey guys are there any body kits that are like body conversions so it
will make an older model kind of look like a newer model? For example I
have a 96 mustang and I want it to look kind of like the 99 to 04 model
do yall have any ideas on how to do that? thanks

I don't know of any aftermarket body kits that will do what you want. There is a kit that will make a 99-04 look (sort of) like an 05, but that doesn't help you.

The Cervini stalker kits look nice on the 96-98 Stangs (IMO) - you might be able to find pieces on ebay cheaper than buying new.

There was someone who took a '95 GT and put a '99 body on it. But it was a very involved, very expensive process.

It would probably be cheaper (and much easier) to buy a newer model.

Its actually not terribly complicated, just expensive for the bodywork.

Basically, you take the car to your favorite bodyshop and have them cut off the rear 1/4 panels, and have 99+ rear quarters welded on. From there you replace doors, fenders, lights, bumpers, fascias, etc with all the appropriate 99+ parts you wish to use. You may have to drill the odd hole here or there, but the basic underlying structure is the same from 94 to 2004.

x2, like if you pop the trunk on a 96 and a 99 and look at the undelrying lines, they both look the same
