Sounds really good, and those numbers are

I knew this would happen. I buy a Mach and try to tell myself that I won't want to modify her. She is plenty good in Stock form.

What happens . . .

I have started saving money for a possible supercharger (Kenne Bell), suspension upgrades, gears, and now these cams! Oh well . . by the time her warrenty starts to wind down I should have $ to play with for a big ticket item.

It never ends . . .

 

Man ... I told myself the same thing ... But I have a list of things to do now. I too am waiting for the end of the warranty, though ... Only 2 years and 4 months to go!

well lets see, 13.1-13.2 with a good driver.. add 50rwhp and a much better hp curve... i'm guessing a mid12 on DR's or so.

See.........this is why I need to keep my current car. Sure, it will never be as quick as the Mach 1 but if I caved and got one, I'd just be starting from scratch again. My whole reason for buying a Mach 1 would have been for the horsepower, already nice stance, and limited numbers. I didn't think I would need (or want) to do much to it. Thanks to you guys I see I would cave.

 

Oh, I know. Tough decisions.

Its a vicious neverending cycle of "I see, and I want" I think it all started with Hot Wheels when I was 3.

 

Rob, same here. I'm trying to be good. Retirement from the Navy is 3 and a half years away. Trying to put every penny into savings. Minus the money to get this car looking new again. BUT, if the right deal came along, ya never know. I'm so weak.

Sorta OT - Any one see the Yellow Sean Hyland Mustang on TV this past weekend? On SPEED TV they had a show Targa New Foundland. The show was pretty cool.

I was reading in the September 2004 issue of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords about the 5.1 stroker kit from Coast High Performance. I wonder about the kit WITH the Hyland cams.

Maybe I should be saving for the All-Motor route. So many choices.
