If you had say a 94 Vert and found a Body Kit that converted it to the Mach III but with a chopped winshield instead of the double bubble one, say for 4500 bucks.... would you buy it?

I think it'd be cool to do on either a rebuilder or a Cobra needing a paint job.

I don't know of anyone who has ever built one, just wondering why they haven't.

It rides on the SN95 platform, and maybe someone could even design a fast back version.... maybe I will draw that up...

I wouldn't. I think those III's are hideous looking! And if I had a cobra in need of new paint I sure as heck wouldn't ruin it by putting that eye sore on it, i'd just spend the $ for a new paint job. That's just my opinion of course...you asked lol.

'twasn't a body kit, it's the 1991 or 2 Mach III show car that Ford unveiled to preview the SN95s.

I loved the way it looked, a little swollen but sweet altogether.

I think that's more the direction they'll take in the next total redesign, go back to futuristic looks while keeping the Mustang trademark design cues. I thought the Mach III was really unique and very cool, with a few tweaks it would have made a great high-end Mustang-based sports car.

wow, i thought ppl would like it. i loved it when i first saw it. wasnt it the reason the 94 and up was so rounded and futureistic looking? oh well. personally, i think its a beatuful roadster type car take that BMW Z4

if i ever buy a 94 and up 'vert i'd so buy the kit
(i say vert b/c arin has a different plan for a coupe )

oh well, cant please everyone...

I think its neat as a concept But not too feasible as a production car. A little too hippy and rounded for my taste but its still very cool. Unlike those lexus sc430's ughh those things look like a fat woman's rear. Gross!!

I think the Mach III is disgusting. I highly doubt a kit will ever be made for that body style, yet you never know...someone came out with the widebody for the fox mustang.

I think it looks great, but id rather have a normal mustang. If they were to make it and call it something else, it would so clean house in comparison to the Z4 or othe roadster types...I think for what it is it is a beautiful design. There was a lot of work that went into that, and it deserves respect.
