Let's talk cooling system upgrades
Ok dudes...
The long and short of it is, I'm in the middle of my Bullitt rebuild and one area I haven't addressed yet is the cooling system. Bullitt will be a high spinning n/a big bore 2V. I'm going to assume it's safe to say the stock cooling system won't be up to the task of handling the additional heat.
What upgrades should I consider? Any specific items, brands, etc would be helpful!
Thanks,
Rich

larger aluminum radiator from Fluidyne, Steeda or Mishimoto. Electric water pump from Meizure(sp). Having the tuner set the fans to come on at a lower temp all come to mind. Our gen of Mustangs didn't really have too many cooling problems, unless you have a '96 Cobra

Thanks for the reply.
Is a new radiator necessary though? I'm getting told by some trusted folks that I might do just fine with a t-stat and the "coolant mod" to the intake.

Good stuff, thanks for the info. I'm getting more and more excited about this build. It's been going on three years in the making... just a couple months before I get home and start working on everything.
