so now that i took the rear spoiler off i wanted to make it even cleaner so I'm removing the emblems..

So i started by taking of the rear GT off and then the FORD logo.. and low and behold the Ford emblem actually has 2 posts that go in 2 holes in the back of the trunk.

So now the emblems are off but it has 2 little holes.

I have not taken off the side ones. does anyone know if those have holes too? I want those huge 35th anniversary ones off. just wanting to know if i will have to buy somthign to replace or if there aren't holes i'll keep it with nothing.

Yeah, major bummer with the Ford emblems. They all have that. That's why I'm going to put that one back on once I get mine, whenever that happens.

Pretty cool project you have going. I'll have to make my own diary as soon as mine finally makes her way home.

Tri-bars look the best, IMO.

Also, do you like obnoxiously loud exhausts? If you do, get an off road H to go with that SLP. I installed a catted H just to see how loud it was, and then took it back off because it was SO LOUD. I loved it, but my neighbors wouldn't like getting woken up at 4am everyday when I leave for work..

I do love loud exhaust..i don't have the slp yet.

My old white 99 had an off road x-pipe with stock catback and was pretty loud. I think i want to go off road x pipe with the slp loudmouth.

anyway..do you still have the off road H? I'll buy it off you if its in good shape and the price is right.

It was mostly just for testing purposes. Wasn't mine. Glad I didn't buy it though...

I'll ask him to see if he's selling it though.

This thread is officially dead. Here is a story...

I have ADD.
I am implusive.
I didn't think the Mustang would need any work.
It did. (just minor stuff but enough here and there that i worked on it way to often.)
I decided to take a bath and get into somthing more reliable at this point.
I figured I would get somthing more economical too.
I bought a 2007 Focus today. (great deals right now on the 2007 focus!)
No more Mustang for me for a while.
I will enjoy the 27-37mpg for now though!

Car specs
2007 Ford Focus ZX4 S.
5-speed manual.
130 hp
129 lbs/ft
Silver Ext.
Black and grey Int.

Oh, you think it's that easy to walk away from Mustangs? Mark my words, you'll be back - and sooner than you think. LOL.

So, when's the turbo kit for the Focus going in?

Don't worry. I'll start you guys a new journal. I've got plenty of stuff to do/document for you all.

Sorry about the 'stang Chris. You'll have one again soon. You'll see...

You're going to miss the power the stang had... you'll get tired of flooring it and feeling like you're not moving. You'll be back!

EDIT: I would have gotten the fusion though, better car IMO. More expensive though...

ANOTHER EDIT: At least it's a Ford and not a Honda!

Yes yes....I know i will be back. But next time I will spare no expense and get a nice mustang.

I would have loved to get the fusion but the focus was the most economical choice right now.

Sorry to hear about the stang! But ya, at least it's a ford! It's still probably faster than mine!

LOL well thats what happens with 18 years of technology. But it still doesn't look as badass as that 89 beast!

Sorry you had to sell the stang Chris.

Nice to know you'll be back in a mustang... not like there was really any question to begin with.

Edit: You had my hopes up when I saw that you posted in this thread too.
