I was just in town retunring a flic and saw this compition orange stang coming toward me....Ugly color in my opinion..but when it passed i noticed it had bullitt rims painted..you guessed it, competition orange....

Man talk about nasty

I like the Comp. Orange as an orange on a car...that being said, I'd never own it, but it is one of the best oranges out there...and blek on the painted rims....next thing you know he'll have the whale tail hanging off the back

 

Competition Orange looks cool on Mach 1s. The contrasting black is awesome and adds a cool retro feel. It'd be awesome to have an orange 1969-1970 Boss 302 or Mach 1 and a Comp. Orange 2004 Mach 1.

 

sorry guys that color is just way to flat for me....no intersted..it looks like a latex wall paint with a clear coat. There are far better shades of orange..heck if they had just toss a metal flake into it it would have been alot better. Just my opinion mind you

 

orange rims?!?! that is so :gay: Some things just have to remain they way they are, and Bullitt rims are definatly one of those things

 

I'm with brad on this, I like the looks of the color on the mach1s

 

I'm also with Brad on the Competition orange on the Mach 1. I think Ford should have just made that an exclusive color for the Mach 1

I like the orange on the Mustang, especailly the Mach... the wheels being orange is stupid IMO.

as always, to each his own... at least they aren't bringing back playboy pink as a heritage color :gay:

Galaxie..I agree each to his own. I'm not a fan of that color. But it seems I'm in the minority. Thats cool with me.
My biggest beaf with that car was the rims heheh. The car was well it was what it was..but those rims were ugly, the only colors I would have let pass on them was DSG or black. But that is me.

 

Well Brad I guess I would not be the only one than... My wife has begged me to sell the 66 and get a 67 Playboy Pink vert... She would probably make me get another job if the new stang comes out in playboy pink...

 

I thought the orange was ugly too but I went to look at a blue mach and they had a orange one there I just had to have it.....

 

Just waiting for Ford to bring back "Grabber Orange," but not on the wheels.

I was just looking at a Competition Orange SVT Cobra today. I think it looks really good. It's either that or Screaming Yellow for me. I'm leaning toward the orange though.
