Trading second vehicle for this-probably. Been on the lot since at least March when I first noticed it. The total score is to get this for my husbands gt, and turn around for my bday next year and get a black 05 v6... Think they will go even further down in price the closer we get to September?

September? If you want a great deal wait until October or November. I bought my $35,000 Cobra last year for $29,700 because I waited until November to get it. Remember when they first came out? You couldn't even get them for sticker price. THE LONGER YOU WAIT THE BETTER THE DEALS GET!

Gimme red is the only tool I really need.

Its just sitting there unused, I don't want a gt, he does.......... it needs a home so what better solution? I want a black 05, but I want an orange car, and I don't need superpower to run to the old navy and back.

i say go for it. you might be able to get a cheaper car later. but also you might not find the car you want. as long as you are happy with what you get. it really doesnt matter. i dont care if johhny waited 3 months to get his car 1500 cheaper than me. i got to enjoy driving my car for those three months. i wanted an 05 and the wife wanted an orange 04 w/ everything. so we went found one and bought it, we are happy with the decision, and i sleep good at night, and work on new tires for it when she lets me drive it

Orange GT .... give me a call to set up a time to come get this beast.

So far sooooo good:

I just have to take in more work. Which is fine, and have two mustangs.
Right now its not smart to trade my olds in because I am upside down due to excessive miles. My husbands truck is paid for, and he's the one who wants the Gt anyway, I just want Orange.
So provided I can get the financing in order- this car is mine. Well, His.....But in my garage.

He wants something that looks super cool, and hauls and has AC and such. We have spent three tons of money getting the Bronco running, and as a 19 year old beast, it gets expensive. I have already said we make the payments on our mechanics mustang cause we are there so much soooo..
He also uses it for work, which is not too simple due to it getting about 8 mpg and having a 35 gallon tank.

Does a Mustang make sense for his line of work? You really can't carry much around in it.

Aug 31st is the best day to get a great deal. End of qtr, end of month, beginning of next model year in one day...

I drive a lot for my job. That is why I drive a Mustang. I want to love the time that I have to be in my car.

NO harm No Foul....If the deal doesn't work out, I am taking my remainder left in the Eleanor fund and going to the redneck riviera for a couple days.

I have a snooty car to drive(right, guess if you don't own it you like it), so I am in no bad spot here- its win win. I get a mustang now or later or both.
My morning commute is from the coffeepot to the computer- so mine will be total pleasure. His is driving all over the SE to work on phones. So he gets to have all the fun in his own.

Seems like the carpayment would be mor ethen made up in Gas and maintenance on the Bronco.

Amen on that one! Gas is nuts on it. I will miss the custom made true duel exhaust on it though- it sounds SWEET! And it may cripe my $... for my husband to get one before me. Payback is a wench I guess- I didn't let him drive my olds when it was new either.
Win Win- when Townsend comes back from Finance I either go pick up or drive down to the gulf for the week. Either way, I am happy.

BE careful what you wish for!!! And never enter into anything lightly......

So far the deal is a goooooooooooo.

That is unless he comes back and says: your monthly payment is going to be a million bucks.
