i got the :
diablo tuner
motive 3.90 gears
steeda cat back exhaust
k & n cold air intake system with filter
mach 1 chin spoiler
black shorty antenna

i am thinking i might go with some different rims this year, but what i really want is to go fast. to be fast. as fast as i can get in my 4.6 automatic. i noticed a huge jump in acceleration after the diablo and the gears. i just want to have one bad-hiney fast as heck mustang.

what else can i do? i do not want any nitrous. any suggestions?

open up that exhaust with an offroad pipe, some steeda underdrive pulleys, stiffen things up with some subframe connectors.

You might wanna list a budget.

Because window tint and supercharger(my suggestion) aren't in the same $$$ range.

i'm looking around 5-700.00.

i want the hp mostly, then the cosmetic.

my car has the steeda cat backs, and they are plenty loud for me, so i am not sure i want the exhaust any louder. does anyone know if adding the steeda h pipe with cats make more hp? and keep the noise down?

Yes, they do add more hp, I forget how much though. If it comes with the free flow cats, your looking at about 30hp. It will be alittle louder, but since it still has the cats, not as loud as it could be.

How about a new intake plenum. They add some decent power too. Maybe add a 70 mm throttle body on top of that. Should be little less than 700 bucks.

Now if you had 4k I would say a procharger ps1c supercharger at 8psi. Boost your car over the 400 mark easily.

I would follow Ua2k1gt's suggestion. You have a good foundation of a bolt-on street car. Subframes to stiffen everything up, mid-pipe of your choice (I love the magnaflow catt'd X-pipe), underdrive pulleys and maybe the upper plenum.

his diablo tuner should be able to firm up the shifts w/o a shift kit. he should add a tranny cooler though.

Yeah definitely a new mid-pipe (x-pipe if you're looking for power), new plenum/tb, maybe a p&p job?

thanks for all the replies so far guys. i think i'm going to go with the 70mm plenum and throttle body, and either a catted h or catted x pipe.

the car is an auto , but it's mine for the next two years, so i am gonna do what i gotta do to get the power out of it.

no lease, just 1.5-2 years until i can feasibly afford a new 07 or used 06.

i only owe about $8k now, so i hope i can make the car really enticing when i sell it off in two years. i hope i can get around $10k for it then. it will have all the mods listed and then some more, and around 80k miles by then. then again, it probably won't get more than $8k.

well, i decided to go with the following, let me know what you all think.

accufab 70mm throttle body
accufab plenum
bullit suspension kit
mach 1 rims

and i think i might spring for some underdrive pulley's.. looking at steeda's or FRRP.
