Exclamation HELP WITH ALTERNATOR

as the title says, my 2002 mustang gt with swapped 2004 engine alternator wont charge up my battery, the old one's fuse blew up and the wire connecting on top of it glew red hot when i revved the engine till the battery died...i noticed that the wire itself was loose and there was no tight connection between it and the alternator itself...
so here i am with a new battery and a new alternator, STILL SAME ISSUE!! i checked if there was a short but nothing! battery voltage is at 12.00 but car wont start now unless with a battery jumper... am confued and frustrated and in need of any guide or help!
also the wires looked fine to me no corrosion or anything burnt up except the very tip of the wire that you tie with a bolt nut on top of the alternator, i did clean it and made sure there was a tight connection but nothing..

A healthy battery should read 12.6-12.7 volts when fully charged. Anything under 12.2 is usually trouble.
