WOW. Have u guys seen how many mustangs are for sale on ebay?? I posted my 95 cobra on there and had my mustang in the news paper. Still No hits. It seems everyone is waiting for the 05 and want nothing to do with the old ones.
I tell ya what!! People wanting to buy used stangs are going to get a great deal since there are so many up for sale.

My local SVT dealer still has 5 '03s and 4 '04s that are brand new and cannot sell them. If the next one weren't going to be such monster, I would be over there snatching one up. I think I, too, will wait on the next generation Cobra.

Ya, I agree! People wanting to buy new 04's are getting great deals also! I went by Sunrise Ford in North Hollywood, CA yesterday and they have a gang of bran new 04 GT's just sitting there. Dealers are going to be dropping their panties to get rid of these things.

I visited my Ford dealer last week, I was checking Lincoln Navigator, and there were at least 10-15 2004 Mustangs there. Few Cobras, few GTs and most of V6.

This delaer is a small town dealer in West Lafayette, IN (home of Purdue University). He is close to Indy and Chicago. I don't know why they are having trouble selling them. You would think people from Chicago would be coming down to get them if they are hard to find there. One of his is a dealer modified car (CAI, chip, Bassani x-pipe, cat-back, subframes, short throw shifter) to demo the mods they offer. I drove it, very fast car. I wouldn't buy that one though. I am sure it has been beat on.

Well I for one hopefully will be taking advantage of the people trying to get rid of their older mustangs for the new body. I've been looking for a nice 94-95 5.0L for a while now. There's a good possibility that I might be taking home a 94 rio red cobra saturday... I've already looked at it once but now I'm going again to make an offer. If that fails I also know of a 95 gt for sale around town. I have somewhat noticed that people do not want the old body style as much now though. I've had my 95 v6 up for a good while now and haven't had much people interested.

I see a lot of teenagers on the streets with 96- 98 Cobras. High school kids even. One kid has a yellow 98 Cobra with the alteeza tail-lights. Too much rice for me personally but otherwise a sharp car.
E-bay always seems to have a few very sharp and well taken care of Cobras for sale. Too bad I haven't hit the lottery yet. I'd build a 20 car garage and go crazy!
I still think my 96 Cobra is the best-looking car I've ever owned but after I test-drove an '03 I just had to have one!

See, that's the difference in local economies. Metro Detroit has well over 1,000 mustangs on lots. 6's GT's STV,s Saleen's of any color or style and even a few Mach 1's. Probably the reason were not seeing the 05's here.

I'll buy an '03-'04 brand new cobra if they still have them in the summer, the new mustang is sharp looking but the GT and V6 aren't gonna be enough for me, i'll wait for the new cobra before i buy the new body style. or if the '05 saleens or roushs are bad azz with loads of power. my .02

I have watched the local paper (Pittsburgh) and they have an 04 cobra for sale. It was $31k after rebates a few weeks ago, but has gone down to $29k and other incentives.
I wonder how low they will actually go.

The first 05 arrived here in the Cary Crossroads ford, you could tell all the people were excited, but they still have a lot of 04s on the lot. One of the employees was complaining about how they had to basiclly give them awway and that this was only going to make it worse.

All the dealerships around here have tons of 04's left. No body wants to buy them, everyone is waiting for 05's. They got them as low as $17,500 for manual, standard package GT models. Mustangs are going to own thet streets in 05...

Local dealer has an 05 GT next to an 04 Mystichrome Cobra vert. on the showroom floor. I wonder how quicly the price will come down on the 04s now that the 05s are here.
