so then you couldnt really take a mach 1 or 96-01 cobra motor and expect it to hold up and be like the 03 and 04s? and there was no differnence in the heads. i thought the 03 04 had better set of heads?

the 5spd mach motor is missing the forged rods, so yes, it cant take as much as the 03/04 cobra motor. but i have a buddy with an 03 mach with the cobra blower set up on it. it has 88k and is still runnin. he is puttin down about 450rwhp, and it makes it to the track quite a bit

The heads on the 2003-04 mach 1 and cobras are the same. and they are better then the heads that are used on the 96-01 cars.

the machs are close to the sc cobras becasue they are about 200lbs lighter and and put out around 320hp dispite them them being rated at 305hp.

There are very few people that have a heavier foot than me, and I pitch the car sideways almost daily. No wheel hop or problems here.

BTW, I won't spend a dime as I have warranty unitl 2010/75k miles .

Close in what way? I hope you don't mean power wise. I destroy my buddy with a Mach 1 on daily basis. His car is Prochambered/tune/Catback equipped.

No I was talking like 1/4 mile runs. I know the cobras usually have around 400 or more stock.

The cobras run around high 12's at mph or 2 under 110.

The Machs are low 13's and 103 or so mph.
