The NADA retail value is $25,570 according to the website....apartently it has an aftermarket pully too....I'm going to go look at it on the 27th, just wanted to know if the price was good enough even consider it.

That same car would be about 28,000 here... funny how prices vary with location...

ok...so here us what I need to know. I'm Trying to convince my wife that this is something we should get...I'm going with the "investment" strategy.

Assuming I never wreck it, I return it to stock (something I will probably do) and drive it maybe 5-8,000 miles a year, what will be the rock bottom value this car will ever have. I'm saying 15k...at the very worst. Buying it at this price, I dont think I'll ever get flipped in payments. thoughts?

I'm trying to determine if its a good idea or not. I have one problem. Garage space....Living in Northern Indiana, We get lots of snow....and I only have a one-car garage....which means that either the '65 or the cobra will need a place to stay for the winter....my folks have a giant barn, but I would hate to by something and just assume they will let me keep it there durring the winter. Plus there is the financial part of it. I technically CAN afford it...barely...but the question remains, do I want to? I feel that once I drive it I'll know what I should do.

dude 23 for a cobra..thats a pretty good deal to me and plus its a conv. and 10th anniv. that really makes it a good deal. do you have room to put in a shed? like the aluminum(?) ones ya know? that'd work great for the 65' because you could buy side and front covers for it. i tihnk they run about $750
