Is this a good price for a 2000 Stang?

I looked at a 2000 Stang GT Convert, White with black Stripes, with not even 23k miles on it. It looks to be a very good shape and worth the buy, but I don't know if it's work 12k or not...

For 23K miles and a vert, it might be worth it.

KBB said it's worth close to 13k and the actual value of the car is nearly 16k

For 23K mileage......yea. Remember 12K is the starting price....he should offer 8 or 9.

I just bought my car 3 weeks ago. It's hard to find a dealer that sells a 98 for less than 8.5K. 2000s usually go for 9-13K, but for a vert and a 23K. That probably is around 11-13K.

You're saying the condition is great, so that's good. Get a Car Fax report, and that will help you gauge the pricing.

Is this a dealer, private seller, or original owner?

The odds are looking good, by owning a Saleen and being the original owner of the vehicle he probably hasn't beat the car to death.

Always try to get the best deal you can though. I say anything under 10K is a steal.

What are you expecting to pay?

I just bought her at 11,300. Insurance only went up $40 every 6 months and my monthly note went down to $225 (from $239)

So I'm actually saving money by getting a car I love...

$11.3K isn't bad at all, especially for a good conditioned one.

The taxes sound killer though.....I gotta experience that tomorrow.

Best of luck!
