Gears!

In a few weeks I'll be ordering a set of 3.73's. I'm just trying to find out what a good rate is to have them installed. A guy at one of the shops down here in Louisiana told me 400 and that's with me providing everything gears, oil and the new bearing install kit deal. Is 400 kind of pricey with me providing all the stuff to do the install? Thanks

If the guy does a good job it may be a little high but not really. Here in WA state there is a mustang shop that does gears for about 700 to 750. That's with them selling you the frpp gears bearing kit and oil.

Cool man. Yea this dudes shop has a really good rep,a lot of people trust him. I just wasn't sure what going prices were for the installation. Is there a break in period I should go through after the install before I decide to mash on the pedal?

For the first 500 miles you should take it easy on your new gears. I think that is the general rule of thumb
