Hi guys,

I just read the article in the latest MM&FF on the Ford Racing supercharger for the 4.6 2v engine. I was quite impressed on how clean and natural it looked to the engine. I tried looking on Ford Racings website for some more information about it but only could find the 5.0 and 4.6 4v superchargers. Does anyone have a link or information about these products?

I was also wondering if the come with everything needed and whether or not they are self oiling or not.

Thanks for the help

There's just a little bit of a price difference there...

Thanks for the help guys. I was quite impressed by the numbers that it put out for a much lower price, plus in my opinion it looks a lot cleaner under the hood.

i like the KB better, but the KB has the boost-a-pump issue, so if you plan on going into the 700 plus hp zone, i would upgrade the whole fuel system to be safe from pre-mature death of the bottom end.

I'm sure everyone and their mothers like KB's better but the reason people are looking into the frpp supercharger is the low price, reliability, stock looks, and decent power gain.

I loved the stock looks of it!! Thanks BullittMustang50!! The price was the most appealing part for me especially since I'm only looking to get into the 350to 375 hp range right now.

thats very simple, u can get a turbo set-up for about 3k and make that with 8psi on the stock bottom end, and thats at the wheels
turbos are much better too, they take 30hp to operate when a blower takes 50-250hp to operate, the procharger dealer i know says the F-1 takes 200hp to operate

If you can get a turbo kit ready to bolt on with EVERYTHING you need including injectors, pump, tune and all for 3k, i'll buy a gt and the kit right now. You may can get the bare essentials, but you still have to get everything else that goes along with it which every person I've seen do it, they've ended up with 6k+ easy.

But we aren't talkign about turbo's since this thread was about the FRPP roots blower

he wanted forced induction so i jumped ontot rubos because they are more efficient. a single T-60 with intercooler and custom bar and plate for 3100, 350rwhp. comes with injectors, have to run tubing.

Yeah turbos make great power as well. But please show me where you can get a full turbo install kit for 3k.
