First mod

I'm 16 and I have a 2003 mustang GT. What would be a food first mod? I want something that isn't going to break the bank but still give me a good increase in power or handling.. ect.

You just peel it off. It's that rubber tube thingy that is attached to your factory air box. Free mod!

Removing the silencer doesn't really do anything.

This. Take it off, leave it on, it won't make a difference.
When I got my gt last year, I was 16. And the first mod I did was new shocks and struts. Then short shifter and exhaust. The rest is history and can be found below in said build thread.

Id say go with shock and struts, and some good brakes when it's time. At 16 a GT will have plenty of power for you to mess around with for a while, save the CAI and tuner for 2-3 years down the line when you're bored with the power you've got.

Supercharger? He said he's 16! Go with exhaust first! Doesn't make your car faster, but it sounds faster!!!

That's my thinking. My cars plenty fast for me. So might as well make it handle like its on rails. But honestly... if I had the money for f/I I'd do that in a heart beat.
