dallasw77 -
The great exahust question. I was asking that same question last summer - there are honestly so many, not too mention the variables (will you be getting on off-road mid-pipe or headers?) which will add differ sound also.
Before I got my Borla Stingers, I think I listened to over 100 differ sound clips online. After a while, I swear they were all starting to sound pretty much the same. I read forum after forum. But once I heard the Borla Stingers in person, I knew right then thats what was going on my Cobra. Point blank.
Since mine are coupled with an offroad x-pipe and longtube headers, I don't hear much of anything these days except my exhaust.

Hey there, I have an 02 GT with steeda side exit exhaust on it. While very hard to keep clean and looking good, they sound awsome. Idle is barely louder than stock and when I get on it, it isn't obnoxiously loud but it is very racy sounding. I also have an 03 mach 1 that my girlfriend drives and we put an SLP loudmouth cat-back on it. Sounds mean, very mean. I don't think it's obnoxiously loud either, but a lot louder than most other exhausts I have heard on the SN95. My 88 saleen with flowmasters is still quite a bit louder though.

Borla is a great system. Not just from the sound standpoint, but the fit and finish standpoint as well. Very well made system, and they fit perfectly.

Does anyone here have the Steeda Cat-Back exhaust? I've been looking around am thinking about getting those. I just need some opinions.

Steeda used to be a borla.
It was made by borla to steeda's spec, so it didn't sound the same as regular borla's.
Stingers are cheaper (pricewise) and louder than regular borla's.
I'd love to hear them in person.
I have borla's on my V6, sound gravy....can't wait for stingers.
