Okay, I'm looking to upgrade my catback on my 2000 GT... What would you reckoned for the deepest exhaust with a really hood bass note?

Magnaflow is the deepest tone, but not very loud. I have SLP loudmouth on mine. Pretty loud and still has a muscle car tone

I have heard good about slp. How about the MAC cat back? The one offered from americanmuscle.

Slp is pretty much the loudest I've heard on these. I prefer the tone of the Mac system. If you really want deep, just go turn downs without tails. That's gonna be deep.

I put SLP on my stang because I wanted loud. I put Magnaflow on my F150 because I wanted a deep bass tone. That's what it does, it's noticeable but doesn't wake the neighbors

Im really liking the MAC and the MAC o/r h pipe combo. I have always heard borlas and flomasters are a bit subdued?

I would like a more muscle car sound. I have would consider the bbk o/r x. It is a good price.

On my 5.0s i owened i had a h on my 92 and x on my 90 lx, i liked the h better on the 5.0 engines, but that 4.6 is sweet with the x

Slp is ok but to me its more obnoxious than anything, borla my favorite but pricy, i had a bbk x with mac mufflers and it sounded awesome!!

That's probably what I am going to do. It has a good price range. I agree, I had slps on my 98 cobra and they were just to loud. This is my dd, since I'm only 16, so a good "medium" between loudness and deepness is what I want.

I would recommend the MAC exhaust. My car came with MACs when I bought it and it sounded really nice and deep. Now I have Magnaflow's and they sound pretty close but no as good as the MACs. Although the Magnaflow's do feel a little bit less restrictive.

It's pretty easy to do. The only reason why I paid for someone to do it was because I didn't have the time to do it and I was anxious to put them on lol. I paid $60 at a local shop so it shouldn't be too much.
