O.K., everyone here knows how I feel about my Bullitt. Mon afternoon she was parked in front of my work when a drunk driver slammed into her hard! The driver then jumped off the curb & hit another car. After hitting 2 cars & slamming into a curd,her front pass. wheel was broken,almost hanging off...she tried to flee the scene! She was arrested,my car was towed & I cried all night long.
My Bullitt has alot of damage, especially in the front end suspension,but she will be back! I can't survive without her!!!!!
She's in excellant hands & WILL be in show condition with a new paint job (entire car of course),in about a month. The place that won my business doesn't 'repair' damaged parts, they replace them w/brand new ones! 90% of their bus. is show cars & rare specialty cars. They know what she is & all she's become, they promise that I will be more than 100% satisfied! I've talked to about 20 of their clients & I've seen their work...to say I'm impressed is an extreme understatement!
I can't wait to get her back...I miss her SOOO BAD!

Its a shame that a great car like that got smashed up.

Sounds like you have a good bodyshop taking care of it.

Insist on genuine replacement panels and high-quality paint materials. The car should look better than new.

sorry to hear about your loss -

i understand your pain -- i had my door scraped by an IDIOT encroaching into my lane back in August and had to have it fixed --- props to the Ford shop - they took lots of effort to make her perfect and yes, they can come out better than Factory --- they refinished my Baby and there is more metallic in her now --- in a way it was good cause now she looks even better ---

sometimes, there is good from things like this and i have to agree with you on how you feel about yours -- one never realizes how much they mean till something goes wrong ---

and sounds like you have good people working on her -- trust is an important thing and you should take comefort in knowing she is in good hands.....

Hopefully they take this drunk off the road. I think they get off way too easy. What would had that accident been like had you been getting into your car at that moment!?!?!

Teri!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!? OMG! That is sooooo UNFAIR. After all the good deeds you did for us 'stangers this year, that is just not right.

Looks like it didn't have you down for long - you've got your remediation plan all squared away and that Bullitt is going to be better than ever as a result. I'm thinking of you, keep us posted.
