I purchased my dad a dipstick handle from MGW. They ask when I purchased by phone if the dipstick was a loop or a T. I did not know as this is a gift for his car. The lady ask someone there and he said loop. They sent the T shaped cover and I am not sure if it will work. It has instructions for both installations (loop & T). My question is Will a T "shaped" cover work on an 02 GT or do I need to send it back and get the one shaped as pictured. I'm confused.

I'm pretty sure its a T-handle on the 4.6L motors. I havent seen anything that were different.
