With the 05 mustangs now in dealer showrooms, what kind of discount can one get on a 04 cobra, in addition to any rebates? Is $30,000.00 a good price for a Torch Red coupe?

The 05s have not shipped yet and will arrive at the dealers in a couple of weeks. $30K seems a liiiitle too low for me

The coupe's MSRP is $36,065.00. There is a factory rebate of $3000 and the dealer will also match it for a total of $6000 discount. I can have it for $30,000. Not doing this sort of thing everyday, is $30,000 good for a year-end model?

Well with all that on it I'd say only try to lower it to $29,500

$30K sounds pretty darn good to me. Considering the performance you're going to get, you'll be one very happy camper.

Its your call, but I'd say its good deal if you can swing it.

Let us know how you make out.

Got my '03 redfire Cobra last year at this time for 29,700. So, yes, the deals are out there!

yeah, man thats a good starting price. can always spend a little while and see how desperate they are to deal. they might come down some more. 30000 is great. now imagine how good 28,000 will sound. get preapproved and walk in there with a chack and say take it or leave it and see what they say

I just got a quote from a dealer for an 04 Cobra vert for....

$25529 including all rebates...

I asked about GTs but he sent me this instead cause I will be trading in my 97 cobra...

Now if I can come up with some more money :bang:

No sir... I mentioned the trade so you know that they would probably screw me over on the trade.

Maybe I will just go to find out if it is true or not. Maybe they are just trying to get me in to the dealership...

You can definitely hit a 2004 for less than $30,000 -- they want them off the lots to make room for fast selling $30K 2005s! My local dealer will NOT budge much on the MystiChrome 2004 Cobra, but the rest he'll rebate deeply

Make sure that isn't the quote for a GT. He probably meant GT but said Cobra. Because there is no way the dealer is discounting $15,000 on a new Cobra. If it is true, let me know. I'll go down tomorrow and buy it!
