Cobra-R wheels on my newly purchased 1995 Mustang GT coupe

I have just purchased a 95 Gt coupe. The wheels on the car I have never seen before. I searched using the center caps and found this. They are off of a 94-04 Cobra-R part#C-0374 that is what I learned about the caps. I still don’t know everything about the wheels. They are 17” highly polished chrome wheels with the above mentioned center caps. One of the wheels has a sticker still on it and I can read 1143 on it. Is there any information on these wheels? Thanks

A True OEM FORD service Wheel & Caps Would Have ID# Embossed on Them. Motorsport & Shelby Parts Not So Sure. Caps Would Usually Have a Sticker as Well But Stickers Don't Stay Stuck Forever. I would Bet @SVOpaul Knows This one off the Top of His Head!

If Not Some Good Pics Of Back Of Wheel & Cap Would Be Helpful! That 1143 Number Jives With a Center Cap Base Number as Far as Id#s But Without Prefix or Suffix. Example 1R3X-1143-AB Wheels Would Be Similar With 1007 in The Center.

Are Your Wheels & Caps Identical to These You Posted on in Other Thread?

EDIT P.S.

I Did Find This in the 2010 FRPP Catalog. M-1007-G178 {POLISHED} Looks Like Wheel But a Little Different Cap. Wheel Below is Also Similar C58!{CHROME} The Cap on Previous Thread Looks Like REPOP to Me Posted FRPP Cap Page as Well!

I Swear I Got More Ford Books than I Know What to Do With Anymore!

KC, I ran into a similar thing in about the 98-99 time frame. Bought a set of the chrome Cobra R wheels (authentic) for a Fox body I had. Was told way back then that you couldn't get a center cap, had to buy a whole wheel to get it.

Needless to say I kept a close freaking eye on them, those wheels weren't cheap back then!

I have pulled the information off the back of the wheels they are Topline part#1119-796 They are highly polished chrome 17”X9” JJ The center caps are Topline TC-009. If they aren’t associated with Ford in any way then maybe they were made for Shelby American. They are absolutely beautiful and the center caps the snake is awesome and like no other.

I hope you saw the other posts after we found out they were Topline wheels and caps originally distributed by Tradeunion who I emailed just trying to find out some history on the wheels. They won’t respond. I guess they were just some aftermarket wheels that happen to be incredibly beautiful and rare. I have never seen such beautiful wheels and the snake on the caps I have never seen anything like it before, other than the guy who had two caps stolen from his garage. Buck
