I have a choice between Borla, MagnaFlow, Bassani, and FlowMaster.
I'm leaning more towards Borla b/c the sound quality, i hear, I much better than the others. I havn't hear much abotu Bassani though, but I hear it's good. FLows, I'm not too fond of them, they are way too loud for the perf. gains you get, all they are really for is sound. I want mostly performance, and sound comes in second.

You're probably not going to get very much performance out of a cat-back alone. It's a combo of headers, x/h pipe, and cat-back.
From what I've been told you want to have a combo that compliments one another. Meaning certain combos will create certain sounds, and will produce different performance results. You have to decide what combo you want, and what suites you the best.
SLP by a design/function standpoint might do well in the performance area, because there is very little exhaust flow resistance. However owning a vert, you probably wouldn't want to hear the sound constantly.

There's your answer. I have them on my '04. IMO, there is nothing better for the SN95s.

i'm a flowmaster man, in my opinion you cant beat the sound of them super 40's...perf wise shouldnt really matter on the cat back, as long as its free flowing in mandrel bent...if you want perf.. make sure u get a mid pipe without cats..if cars arnt inspected in your state...

I found a Borla cat-back system for alittle more than $500 on ebay, so I'm thinking about trying to get it for that price, I'd have to wait about a month though. I'm still not too thrilled about getting something so expensive on ebay, but anywhere else it's about $700+

If you can hear what each one sounds like with a good mid pipe and/or headers combo, then it is all just preference. I have a Mac H Pipe with no CATs and Magnaflow exhaust free flowing. I absolutely love the sound and get many compliments on it. A nice low rumble while sitting and in netrual but once you step on it, boy it sounds really good.
Now my dad has Borla on his WS6 with an Off Road X-Pipe with no cats and has headers done.....OMFG! Just pure simple beautiful sound, no joke.
Good luck on your decision, i know it isnt easy.

I know Scotts pretty busy, but if he has a chance to rip the video of my first dyno run from Saturday, you can hear my borlas from idle to screaming, with a stock H.

That'd be cool if he could do that, it'd help my decision along.
I'd like to hear clips of every exhaust system they make for the y2k gt

Goto the forums and register, they have quite a few sound clips, and users are constantly adding video clips.
