Cams, cams, cams...
So after perusing the forums for the last few days I still can't decide which cams to go with. I have a 2003 GT 5spd with 83k miles. It's N/A, and I plan on keeping it that way. The only mods are; an Airraid intake, underdrive pulleys, Accufab 70mm throttle body and plenum, and an SLP exhaust. I've been seeing people mention Cushman and Modular Motorsports? I don't take the car to the track and put around 5k miles on it a year. I really like that "lopey" cam sound, and I would like to get as much power out of them as I can without sacrificing reliability and piston clearance. Also, will I need to purchase adjustable cam gears? So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Same boat as you buddy. I was just going to post the same question for the same reasons. I also have a 03 GT with a 5 speed with 78,000 miles. I would like to get a 262 cam in comp cams or trick flow. Comp says stock springs, no tune and has good ptv clearance. I was in the Mustang section of the Summit catalog and see Trick Flow offers a bundle with springs and states then on their site tune recommended. So then where do I go for a tune. Just don't need a open a whole bunch of problems to a nice car. Please any help on how to do this right with no codes and dependable street car is appreciated.

So done some more research on this topic and think I am out after adding everything up and the results. If I would do this I would do cams the CMS stage 1 cams myself. I have a buddy who did the trick flow stage 2 cams and heads on a 00 GT. After he had his cams installed he had the car tuned and dynoed. He said the tune ran him $500.00. So for parts, labor and tuning which is going to be recommended, it gets pricey for a few the extra 15 or 20 horse power if we are lucky. Since I am happy with the way my car sounds I would rather invest in some wheels and avoid all this. Hope that helps.
