Cams..

Can anyone give me a rundown in cams for a 2000 gt.
what parts do I need?
how much for all the parts?
install cost?
What's the performance gain?
How much would the dyno tune be?
I would want to do it right...
I'm really considering this for the summer.

It depends what cam you want. If you get a mild cam you'll be able to keep most of your internals. If you radical rough idling cam you'll need new lifters and valve springs.

Then I'd get the comp cams stage 2 extreme energy ones. Those require new valve springs and retainers. New cams run in $500-600 range. New valve springs are between $150-200 and good retainers are about $75-100. That would give you the loping idle you want.
