Best sounding exhaust

What is your fave exhaust for the V8-powered SN95s?

I say Borla Stingers.

I ask this because I'm considering getting one in about a year. Sure, the 4th gen F-bodies are nice, but parts seem more expensive plus I don't like the interior or the way they sound.

I've had the Stinger and I still think that the Flows have a better tone.

I voted other because I didn't see Corsa there.
If I ever get the funds, that's what's going on my baby.

Do you like loud exhaust? Because if you go with Stingers, that's what you'll get. They don't sounds bad, but they're loud at idle, louder while cruising, and louder still under acceleration. Some people like them, and they really do sounds pretty neat, but make sure you want loud exhaust before you go with Stingers.
I have Magnaflows and I love them. They sound awesome (and quite loud) when I accelerate, but they quiet down a bit while cruising. They may be too quiet for some people, but I really like 'em.

Dude, to give an idea of how loud I like things... I have a playlist of vintage big-block Mustangs on my computor.

Sometimes I have my mom go out and start and rev my grandma's 4.6 Mountaineer while I place my head next to the tailpipe. Not THAT loud, but it helps.

Last I checked Corsa doesn't make anything for the SN95. Or sell parts individually or in universal kits.

Maybe you're thinking S197?

I'm not really that well aquainted with most of the modular exhaust systems, but I do know that whatever is in the stock Bullitt sounds nifty Other, for me. Its loud enough when I want to go, but quiet when not under stress

I guess that I missed the SN95 when comparing the Stingers vs. Flows. So now I say definitely Flowmasters

Thanks Mudshuvel for the comment on the noise. I like the sound of my '01 GT in stock form, but I'm thinking of exhaust, intake, and shifter as my first mods. I want to hold the noise down so I can enjoy the stereo.

I voted for Mac ... however SN95 is pretty generic ... were you asking about 94-95's ... or 96+ ... if you meant modulars, 2v or 4v ... different motors=different sound.

I hear ya trying to over-complicate it Jon

Regardless, Magnaflows sound great as an option for all of those

On my 99 Cobra I put 3" MAC Catback with 3 1/2" tips. Coupled with a 2 1/2" Dynomax OR x-pipe it has the deepest rumble I've had yet. They are idle quiet, when you get on it they sound like a jet and cruising is nice and quiet again. But I love turning heads so it all depends on what you like.

I'm running Bassani Mid Length headers, Bassani X Pipe, and Bassani Steet Competition Cat Back. Love the sound, but my neighbors don't.
