Hey Glenn, something else that would really release a few more ponies would be to get a new midpipe. A simple off-road prochamber is about 220 bucks and will get rid of the restrictive stock cats. Not only will it give it more power but it would some amazing!
Thanks Gary,
I have been considering that but the 3" MAC is already so loud, I can't get on it without every cop within 5 miles hearing me. [/b][/quote]
Yes, New York is as Bad as California now with the emmisions testing. Lucky u, u don't live here. B)

Ron Willis,
I wanted to use a flash tuner, not install a new chip, we used the Diablo Predator. Ron is the local Diablo dealer, located him on the Diablo website.

Yes, I too offer a Flash tuner the same if not better then the Diablo Predator. I've also finished a tune the other day with a guy making 473rwhp and 461 rwtq and his mass air was nowhere near pegged.

I hope he didn't have you to beleive that it's warrenty safe just because it's a flasher, if ANYTHING happens to your engine then Ford will send an engineer out and they will research your PCM. Sure they can't tell which programming has been installed but they can tell how many times it's been flashed and they compare that with the warrenty history. If it's more then what's on that then your warrenty is void.

I'd watch it, with a tune that thinks the MAF is pegged at 5,000 rpm's then you going to start going lean and that can be disaterous!

Here's a dyno run from the SCT website with basically the same mods as you..without a pegging maf.

Good luck!

Doug904.

Cat backs, x-pipe and a CAI are amust right off the bat.--also I miss third ALOT with the stock shifter went with a b&m RIPPER for about 179.00 and an MRT fatknob and fixed that problem.

besides all the power improvers I'd upgrade the suspension to get rid of the insane wheel hop that these cars produce under hard acceleration.

Ebach pro lowering springs

steeda rear diff bushings and kenny brown subframe connectors should do nicely to reduce the wheel hop, also steeda X-2 balljoints to fix the "ackerman angle" if you lower the car and 4 bolt caster-camber plates to keep the tire alignment in check.

if you are goign to do a pully and a chip to be on the safe side you should upgrade your stock heat exchanger (expecially if you live in AZ or FL with more air comes more friction which adds to more heat --Fluidyne, METCO and afco all produce quality heat exchangers for relatively cheap.

if you have plenty of upgrade money a KB twin screw will make you decimate anything on the road--happy modding

a PRO 5.0 Power Tower shifter is also a good choice. Too get rid of the stupid wheel hop switch to a GT solid rear axle.
