Auto to Manual convert?

Not even sure how pratical this is but..... Is it insane to change from an auto to a manual. I mean i know obviosuly Clutch, tranny and driveshaft, clutch pedal and all linakge. How difficult of a task is this?

I had it done on my '95 GT. I bought an entire AODE to T-5 swap kit. It came with a brand new Cobra Tranny.
I had a trusted mechanic do the install and it came out awesome. The total cost was $500 for the install. You would never be able to tell it was a AODE in a past life.
Plus it is just so much more fun to play with now
