I'm installing an CDC shaker hood in my 2000GT and will connect it to my Vortech SC. The coolant reservoir is too long and is in the way of the Shaker to SC pipes. Does anyone know where I can get a smaller tank or cut mine in half as the pictures seem to indicate? I've see the smaller tanks that are aluminum but the price is ridiculous. my friend, suggested buying a plastic welding kit and welding on an ABS plate but that would be my last choice. I know the tank is under pressure and I wouldn't trust my fiirst-time welds. CDC gave me pictures of their 99 show car that was done by a shop in Michigan. I guess it can be done but I can't get any info from them. Thanks, Don

 

I saw a GT500 w/ dual coolant tanks, one was smaller than the standard one. I didn't look any further than that though, but maybe its an idea.

Canton can fabricate what you're looking for, I believe. I bought a Canton reservoir tank for my '03 Mach 1 and was very pleased with the quality.
