I went by there yesterday. About 25 Roush(s) are on the lot including some 440A in the mid $40K after $7K off.
Also, there is a 2004 Commemorative Edition Z06 Vette with 2K miles in excellent shape, asking $42K, which I'll be glad to get if I get $20K for my Bullitt.

I am not aware that Roush promoted or modified any Cobras to be resold at dealers. I have seen Cobras with Roush body kits, which makes as much sense as buying a V6 Roush.

IMO, a 400 hp/torque car, with the exception of the POS GTO, is ideal for having fun. I like the Vette. It is a great bang for the buck sports car, just like the Cobra is as a muscle car. I would be ignorant to think a Z06 is not better all around than a Bullitt, and for that matter, so is a Mach 1. Unfortunately, the Ford did not optioned to have a dark green Mach 1 otherwise I would have one instead. I am content with the Bullitt's performance but it would have been better and a perfect fit with the 32V 4.6.

As I mentioned before, I am content with the Bullitt performance. That I wish it had more power is another matter.
An investment in switching the power train is very costly and a waste of money, which is never recovered if one opts to sell. If done on a special edition it just takes away its value, character, and originality. Cross a German Sheppard with Pitbull and the end result will always be a mott.
