Hey guys,
I'm located in Germany and I've got a black 99 Mustang GT, lowered 2" with Eibach Sportline springs, Cast / Camer plates, 17x8 Chrome Bullitt Wheels with 245/45/17 front and 255/45/17 rear with 1" spacer (rear). I will post pics soon.

I've moved the factory rear wing back about 3" - looks much better now, but I'm thinking of getting an aluminum wing like the ones in the pics.
Does anyone have any pics of 99-04 Mustangs with aluminum wing? I wonder which length, height, and width I should take?

The Megan Racing one has the following specs:
Adjustable high from 10"-12", wide 56",10" long, brackets/legs distance is 7" long and 16" wide.

The other one:
17" DISTANCE BETWEEN MOUNTING PEDASTALS(LEGS THAT ARE MOUNTED ON YOUR TRUNK), 6" total height from the base of your trunk to bottom of the wing, 54" total length

Both wings are around $40 on ebay.

I think the mounting brackets of the wing should be wider than the third brake light, this way the wing can be installed all the way to the end of the trunk.

Let me know what you think and post some pics![/
SIZE]
Thanks guys.

Check out this link. It's a nice Stang with air ride system and cool wing!
Nice Stang

P.S.: How can I attach 2 pics?

I respect the legend and history of the Mustang! I really love my BlackPony. You should see a pic.

But I don't have the money for a Steeda functional rear wing or Cobra R wing (that's $250, man) and I need a functional wing for the German autobahn, going +140mph.

You see...

This is my 99 GT with functional hood scoop.

I like the way the factory wing looks after I moved it 3" back but it is not functional, too round, and just not wide enough!

I think a black Aluminum wing will look o.k. and I can use it on the autobahn ( I guess the only place in the world with no speeding limit B) ).

Nice car. the autobahn would be nice... people in the USA cant drive 55 mph much less 140, so it is probably good we dont have it. They might as well put drivers licenses in vending machines as easy as it is to get one here.

I know, man. I was living in the Bay Area for 5 years and got my CA driver's licence by driving around my block once. Cost me $10.

In Germany you have to go to driving school which costs you somewhere between $1,500 and $2,000 plus you have to pass a 45 to 60min TUV driving test.

They don't let bad drivers on the autobahn - not like Frisco with all these bad drivers in rice rockets.

yeah... i like germany i was there in 1990... I guess not long after the wall came down etc. I was in austria and germany for almost 2 months. I am sure they need wouldnt mind getting some harley certified techs over there, but my german was lousy in 1990... even worse now i'm sure.

Man, you have a nice looking car. Don't stick anything on it, especially that wing.

Dyou have any other pics of the car you can post?

Those chrome bullitts (in 18's) might look good on my 05.

Thats a nice looking black mustang.
Have you driven it to 140 already? I don't know how it would run at those speeds, and if a new and different spoiler would improve it much.
If a new spoiler is what you need to be safe at those speeds then get one, I don't have experience in that, maybe someone here can help.
It may be ugly, but better safe than sorry.
Again I don't know how much more stable it would make it if any.

I had my V6 up to 118 on the motorway (honestly), it has no spoiler at all! (it was skipping around a bit at the back though!). I panicked then and backed off. It is an instant 1 year ban and $400 fine for breaking 100mph! (if you get caught )

To Dan:

I've seen the Chrome Bullitt Wheels Size 18x9 and 18x10 on ebay for $800.

Here's another pic of my car.

Does anyone know the width of the Cobra R wing?

I've read that the Cobra R with front splitter and rear wing is capable of going 170mph.

I just wanna hit 250kmh which is around 150mph and that's where my speedometer ends. I hooked up a Hypertech performance computer to raise the top speed.

I had the car at 130mph and it seemed pretty stable - that's because I took care of the frame and installed a strut tower bar, subframe connectors and new rear lower control arms.

One more pic: at a U.S. car show in Germany.
