I'm trying to get an idea of the interest level in doing a TMS cruise to the All Ford Weekend in Carlisle, Pa this year. The event is June 1-3 and of particular interest (at least to me! lol) is that they will be having a Mach 1 reunion for all years of Mustang Mach 1's.

If anyone is interested, I'll start working on some details...

Scothew, do you think I can get a sticky in some of the main forums for this?

 

It is a 5 1/2hr drive but count me in. Will see how many fellow Mustangateers I can pull out the woodwork round here. Hopeful a lot of the people here on the forums turn out.

Any idea what day or days. Might find somewhere to stay overnight nearby or even two nights depending on the turnout.

Cant drink, but Id love to join y'all this summer. Gonna be hanging with most of the Mach guys, but deff. want to do some crusing around too.

p.s. sorry for my crappy typing and ghetto-ish slang but Im running on bout 2 hrs sleep so my mind shuts down.

Adam, if you want to join the party, sign up over at Badmustangsclub.com. We will have a tent, a spot to park all the cars, and so car 29 cars are registered with us. When you sign up for Carlisle, where it says club, enter Bad Mustangs Club. Then your total goes towards the group. Then all you have to do is on on the site, register, and post in the "Carlisle 2007 Registrants" Thread. Don will add your name. Its going to be a heck of a party. I'll PM you with some more info.

 

Adam. I am going to be driving from Rochester down to Binghamton EARLY on the friday morning to meet with some more stangs for the caravan down to Carlisle. If you need more info then by all means PM me. Like Jeff said there are going to be quite a few of us down there and its going to be awesome.
If there is anybody else interested in going from NY or PA please either get hold of myself or Jeff (05FORDGT) and we can fill you in with the details.

 

hey Andy, what route(s) do you plan traveling down through PA?

 

I'd love to go but every year it always seems to fall on my weekend to work (I work every other). As you know Andy I'm just a couple hours from you and you'll probably be going right through my area on RT-17/I-86. Maybe I can go just for friday on my day off.... I'll have to wait and see

 

I know how you feel, I work 12 hour days and have to work every other weekend but ours is always a 3 day weekend. I had to work last year during carlisle because I didn't have any vacation days but this year i'm not scheduled to work anyway so things worked out well for me.

 

Jeff, I e-mailed you back. Andy, I would like to leave Friday morning also. Perhaps we could meet up at some point, although I plan on taking 81 down to PA… What route you taking??? Any one else from the central/northern/western NY area… What about (outdoorstom)?

 

The route has not yet been set in stone so it is liable to change a little. I will look at possible routes later today if I get a chance and will let you all know soon.

 

Hey Adam, I got your email. Give me a call tomorrow sometime, and I can give you all the information on what to do, and how to get the hotel room.

 

Did quick look on map and it looks like I-81 is the likely route. If you would like meeting up somewhere then please let me know so I can draw up some kind of route.
