Yes, pretty large difference will be noticed, Personally a car as heavy as a vert and all i would go with 4.10 gears. The 3.55 gears will change the car dramastically though. Good Choice and Good Luck!

YES, WRITING FROM WORK, NEED CAPS ON HERE. AS FAR AS THE 4:10S GO, I THINK THAT WOULD BE A BIT MUCH CONSIDERING I DO STILL DRIVE THIS CAR EVERY DAY ON THE INTERSTATE. MAYBE WHEN I RETIRE HER IN FAVOR OF A 2005 (OR NEWER), BUT I AM STILL ABOUT A YEAR AWAY FROM THAT PURCHASE...JUST TRYING TO LIVIN UP THE OLD GIRL FOR NOW. WILL I HAVE AN EXTREMELY ADVERSE EFFECT ON MY MPG? ITS NOT GREAT AS IT WITH THE 2.73S BUT IT IS A TEN YEAR OLD CAR WITH 91,000 MILES.

3.55 will be good. it is an auto then i would go with the 4.10. you will lose alittle MPG with the new gears. but most of it will be from wanting to floor it even more!

i have that problem too! i dont worry too much about MPG. i figure i like my car, i like to drive and i need gas to do that. but i still know what you mean. i dont want to get 5 mpg either! you'll probably lose about 1-2 mpg depending on your driving habits
