3.55 gears or 3.73 gears

Thumbs up 3.55 gears or 3.73 gears

anybody running a 3.55 gear ratio in a sn95 gt with a five speed i have a 4.10 ratio now want to change to a better hwy gear, would a 3.55 or a 3.73 be better

I think the 355 would be better on the highway..... better as in better mpg's but you probably already know that

Stock your car had 3.27's, the 3.55's wouldnt even be noticeable over the stock gearing. Personally i would go 3.73's as its gonna be midways between stock and the 4.10's and will still alow you to enjoy some performance from a gear change and net you some mpg back as well.

if you are looking for some 3.55's let me know. I have some that I took out of my 05 Roush that have 4k miles on them. Let them go for $50 shipped.

I can tell the difference in my 3.27 gear Roush to my 3.55 gear Mach 1, albeit oh so slight. I feel 3.55 gear is about right for a daily driven Mustang and glad the Mach 1 has them stock.

Agreed .... I noticed a difference also.
