2003 GT too **** quiet...

I have a 2003 GT and I purchased the American Thunder system from AM last year. It's too **** quiet for my liking. Anyway, I'm not sure if I should just purchase a different catback exhaust system, or try adding an aftermarket H/X pipe? I hate the idea of spending another $500+ on a new catback system, but I'm just not sure if an aftermarket X/H pipe will be loud enough? Also, I'm curious if a catted X/H (I'd like to stay with cats on the car) would be much louder than the factory pipe?

When i had my 02 the first thing i got for it was a borla s-type catback system. To me (and im sure many would agree) this is the best sounding system for thpse 2v motors.

A different h or x pipe will help slightly , but maybe not enough. The American thunder system is one of flow masters mildest exhaust systems in my opinion. If you want loud, flow master 40 series is pretty loud. If you want very very loud, slp or borla is the way to go. Those two exhausts sound like heaven on a 4.6 2valve.
