My rear passenger wheel has locked up. Help! Firestone said I'm in need of an axel, hub, wheel bearing, and spindle I'm on a budget. They want to charge me over 2000 and that's not going to work. What's the best thing to do?

 

Check your brakes. It could be something as simple as your parking brake being locked up.

Are you sure they aren't quoting you for the whole rear end cause that's really high number. You should only need a axle shaft, bearing and seal as well as diff fluid of course. Spindle??? Hub???? You need to talk to someone else bro. Did they actually take stuff apart? Or just drive it?

 

Oh my bad didn't see the IRS part sorry. Anyways I would still get a second opinion for sure wish I could look at it for you
