Well its done pretty tasteuflly. He seems proud of it, thats what counts. I used to dabble in neon and strobes when i was doing alot of stereo stuff. It takes a good imagination to really pull something off good.

Maybe I'm showing my age, but I really have a hard time with neon lites...it's no different then putting on a ricer rear spoiler IMO...

If you like lights it looks good. I'm curious to see what it would look like in daylight.

yeah i got the same thing. though truthfully everyone has their own tastes. i am more of a ford got it pretty darn good. and ill due subtle mods to change the appearance. mostly i use ford parts. just not a fan of all the decals and goofy wings. i mean so what yes you have eibach springs. dont need a 2' by 3' decal on each side to tell me.

Guys, the car had neon all over the inside. Scot said they did a good job. I'm not big on the neon though...but I won't doubt him...Just certainly wasn't my cup of tea...and the other thing I was wondering, was doesn't it affect your vision while driving at night or do they have to be off when driving..Scot, do you know, you said you did some neon...so now I"m just a little curious...thanks

Your not missing anything unless you like gay hiney neons. The only neons I have ever seen on a car that looked good were on a 98 yellow cobra and the guy has them in the nostals on the hood. They looked pretty good.

I think they look good, except for the wires in the interior outlining the dash.

I'd spend the money first on new rims... I've never liked those early SN95 V6 wheels.

With those red and blue strobes, he's just asking to get a hard time from the po-po. I realize that they aren't illegal when they are off, but if he turns them on while on the road, that's a felony. :cop: :cop2:

I've seen worse..........Like Scot says, If you do it tastefully, it can enhance the look of the car. Trick is to not be able to see any wiring / tubes in daylight.

I used to dabble in car stereo stuff. I prefer to never see my neons hardware, just the soft glow of the light to accent different area's of the car. As long as you arent in direct view of the light, it doesnt affect night vision hardly at all.. (i.e. never put a bulb above the window levels. I always preferred under the dash or seats or in the trunk.

Here is a pic of my 2000 gt I had.

no lights on:

headunit is a JVC (i cant think of model number right now), but it is discontinued. I only bought it cause it looks great.

I got the guages off of ebay. Look for el-glo or something like that.
