You need an 8.8 out of a 99-04. Your driveshaft should work just fine.

I work at a machine shop, we have air hoist and they're use to lifting 3. Tons so big help there whe work with ship blocks and housings, I plan to put the mustang on ramps and unbolt from the bottom need the proper technique

What mods can I do now for a gt swap that's my main goal.

Break booster, radiator and coolant tank, k member and new a arms, and wireing harness

Could I use my same key?

Its no problem. Before you start anything however, you need to figure out what you want, research, and plan for it. Otherwise, you'll end up wasting alot of time, money and parts. Theres alot that goes into to any swap, and knowing what your getting into and everything you need, will help speed up your swap and increase the probability that you get it done and not just get overwhelmed and sell off the project.
