You need an 8.8 out of a 99-04. Your driveshaft should work just fine.

 

So I wanna remove the engine and transmission at the same time how do I do this?

 

I work at a machine shop, we have air hoist and they're use to lifting 3. Tons so big help there whe work with ship blocks and housings, I plan to put the mustang on ramps and unbolt from the bottom need the proper technique

 

Gathering up a parts list. Does the 95 5.0 radiator fit the 2000 v6 mounts?

Not to try an push you away from this, because it would be awesome but you know that's not the same as the windsor based 5.0s. Its a modular motor, so you have a motor from the new mustangs, not the old pushrod 302s.

That would be a badass swap though. Just make sure you research what your getting yourself into and that you can handle it.

How much trouble would it be to install the 2012 boss motor in my car?

 

Just out of curiosity can the automatic transmission work with that motor ?

 

What mods can I do now for a gt swap that's my main goal.

Break booster, radiator and coolant tank, k member and new a arms, and wireing harness

Could I use my same key?

Its no problem. Before you start anything however, you need to figure out what you want, research, and plan for it. Otherwise, you'll end up wasting alot of time, money and parts. Theres alot that goes into to any swap, and knowing what your getting into and everything you need, will help speed up your swap and increase the probability that you get it done and not just get overwhelmed and sell off the project.
