Hi,
I am a sound designer and work on many driving games inc. Colin McRae Rally.
I am working on a Mustang Racing game and I need recordings of a V8, V6 and 2.3Turbo 4Cyl engine.
I was wondering if there are any owners of a Mustang in the North West of England who would allow me to record their vehicle at various different RPM's ?
The car would need to have an aftermarket exhaust to give a sporty tone
The vehicle would need to be parked somewhere quiet and held at 1000rpm to 5000 rpm for about 20 secs at each rpm.
I will travel over to record the car, pay the owner a small fee as a thank you & to cover costs, plus they will get a copy of the game when its out in June.

The guy came today (in a riced out Civic 
). We did all the rev ranges up to 4000 (the rev limiter kicks in at 4k in neutral), £40 ($75) later and a copy of the game in the post in june and all is good, Here are the details :
The game is to be called Formula Mustang Racing (still a working title) and it not being offered on sale in the UK, purely for you guys! It will be on PS2 and Xbox. Out Mid June, they are including LOADS of mustangs in it, should be very cool! (plus, if you get it, look at the credits, I will be in there!!
