Ah well. The hoopla over the new pony (in part. the GT) has sapped interest in those of us who own and love the SN95 V-6 machines.

Guess we should remember the reason this whole site is here is due to the interest sparked by the new Pony.

But please people...POST anything interesting. We all love to read and respond even if nothing is happening on our end.

I owned a 96 saturn SC2 with mods and I've beaten several v6 mustangs...

It had a shift kit, CAI, cat-back, throttle body and phelenm, and a racing chip... in 1/4 mile times it was .6 under the stock gt. Since then, I've sold it to a friend who's modded it more and now it's running low 12's. I never asked what he put in it though...

ANyway, that's a reason why no one gets v6 mustangs anymore... I paid 2k for that car instead of 5k for the same year v6 at the time... and I only put 1k of ebay parts in it.

I have a Laser Red 02 V6 5spd, and I absolutely love the car. The only mods it has are BBK cold air intake, Flowmaster muffler (gives it a nice deep sound), and window tinting. I have a Mach 1 chin spoiler, but havnt installed it yet. And plan on adding a few other performance mods, and the Mach 1 grill delete.

Any way, for the style and driving enjoyment, you cant beat it.

I have a 2000 V6 5sp Mustang as a daily driver.
I really enjoy to drive it.
Ever since I updated the exhaust with true dual Mach1 exhaust, it is a different car.
The small single exhaust on this car was very restrictive IMO.

I also have a K&N drop in, my daily driver is a joy to drive.
Before I did the exhaust upgrade I seemed to be swarmed by fart canned rice mobiles (swarmed like bees to me) but now I think the sound from my daily scares them off now.

I do not regret buying this car and it is great fun in the snow. I also enjoy steering with the rear wheels when I decide to in the snow.
4 Blizzaks on this car and it is stable.

+1

I'm actually going to pay off the car this summer so all the money for monthly payments will be diverted to mods. Also, I'm graduating this summer so I'm really looking forward to spending all my time in the garage when I don't have work.

There's an e-bay seller that sells UPR stuff. I think he goes by stang01cobra. Here's his link. His prices are about the same as UPR, but it might be cheaper on shipping.

BTW...what happened to your switches?
