Low power, backfires like crazy

I am a new mustang owner, I have a 1995 ford Mustang v6, really low on power I can get it to 35mph maybe 45mph and backfires like crazy, I know quite abit about car but never have a problem like this and can even pinpoint whats wrong, don't really want to start throw part at it and not know what the problem is, some more knowledgeable about mustangs help me please, don't really want $900 go to waste.

Could be a jumped timing gearset, but plugs, wires, coils/coilpacks, crank sensor, and other items of that nature, all those could also be a thing. Best answer: Take it to a shop and pay them to figure out what's wrong. It'll be cheaper and faster to do that than shotgun it because you don't know how (yet.)
