Which is louder: Turndown or straight tip exhaust?

Turndowns have a much deeper tone. Cant really say louder but definitely deeper.

More vibration with turndowns and cut before axle. But worth it

Turned down is louder but I'd also get them angled towards the sides of the car to lessen the vibration/drone.

I'm really thinking about getting roush side exhaust. An off road h pipe and long tubes. And ditching and or selling the exhaust set up I have now

I like the borla's to. Gonna get them for my GT. Just need to find a new set of pipes as well. I hate tips

Id imagine so with a lowered car. They wouldnt sit very high off the ground with a stock suspension. My h-pipe scrapes all the time on my 99

Is scraping bad could something be pulled like Idk maybe header bolts?

Nah, I scraped for years and never had a problem.

Except when I drove through way to deep of water and blew the mufflers off

I plan on just getting rid of my cats and keeping my borlas. Bc it's the cats that scrape. The exhaust are high up its just that the cats are big. it's like this =[ ]= so I have borla stingers what can I expect without those cats?

While we're on the topic, which is a better catback system? The Flowmaster Force II or the MAC Dual Conversion kit?

Flow master is always good from what I hear I actually think they sound great. Everything I heard about Mac is positive. So you can go wrong either way. This is basically something you'll have to decide. I'd you tube you got me wondering so ill check that out
