Gonna wax him up on either Wednesday or Friday.

My uncle and I spent a good hour or so on it. We are both perfectionist, so that's also why it took us longer. Wanted to make sure we got everything right. We also added this foam padding along this sides that'll repell (sp?) some of the water from getting trapped inside and having a "runny nose" after it gets a wash.

We used this write up by Beetlejuice over at 3.8Mustang

Also sparyed the hood liner with some BBQ grill spray.. looks great too... covered a lot of the salt stains. I'll get pics of that later on.
Great write up for installing!!

No clue what's next. I won't be doing springs.. not for awhile atleast.. there's tons of pot holes and railroad tracks around here. Don't wanna bottom out

My car is a freakin Mutt. V6, GT, Mach 1 Bullitt, 40th Anniversary GT, Avalanche & Beretta ... yeppers.. I have GM parts on it too. We used them on part of my fog light assembly. Got everything either free (hood scoop was free, paint job was $50) and up to $450 (for my 40th Anniversary Bullitts WITH tires.. brand new)

I think a Cobra part is next

That looks really nice, quick question though...how much did the foglights cost and what type of hood is that? Also, anyone else notice the sporty green taurus wagon in the background?

Foglight assembly was around $125... I got it from eBay. A guy from V6 Power sells them online. A friend and I installed them. Then my uncle took a look at what we did, said we did an "ok" job, but he reinstalled it using wires from an Avalanche and clips from a Beretta.

The hood is just a normal 01 V6 hood and we installed a 01 GT hood scoop to it.

My car is a complete MUTTang. It's so confused. I have Mach 1, Bullitt, GT, GM, and V6 parts on it. All I need now is a Cobra engine

The wagon is a friend of the new neighbors across the street. I live in Michigan... imports are a rare site around these parts.

I wish it would be that easy to add a scoop to an 04 stang. Our hoods have the scoop facing us, instead of the road...not too fond of it, might have to get a bullit/GT whole hood sometime?!

Yeah, the new ones use the 99/01 cobra hoods. I think they look alright, and help make them look different than the GT's.

One of the easiest mods to complete. I had a little more work to do on mine, since it was used and pretty banged up by the previous owner. I buffed what I could out of it and repainted it a satin black. The original chin spoiler is more of a charcoal color.
